Small Barn Studio Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

Introduction

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Small Barn Studio has taken during the financial year to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Our Commitment

At Small Barn Studio, we are committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our operations or supply chains. We are dedicated to ensuring our activities are free from exploitation and are aligned with our values of fairness, respect, and human dignity.

Our Business

Small Barn Studio is a UK-based creative studio offering photography, design, print, and creative services. We work with a network of suppliers, freelance creatives, printers, and digital partners to deliver high-quality work for clients across the UK and internationally.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain primarily includes print suppliers, paper and materials distributors, freelance photographers and designers, and technology providers. While our risk exposure is relatively low, we recognise that exploitation can exist at any level and remain alert to signs of unethical practices.

Policies and Due Diligence

We are developing policies that support our commitment to ethical business conduct, including:

  • Ethical Sourcing and Procurement Guidelines
  • Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Whistleblowing Procedure

We aim to work with suppliers and contractors who share our ethical values. As part of our due diligence, we consider the ethical track record and modern slavery risk of our key partners and suppliers.

Training and Awareness

As a small business, we ensure all team members are aware of the risks of modern slavery and understand how to report concerns. We are committed to building awareness of ethical practices as our team and supplier base grows.

Ongoing Review and Improvement

We are committed to reviewing our practices annually and improving our approach to identifying and preventing modern slavery as the business develops. This statement will be reviewed and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, business activity, or risk exposure.
